Five separate buildings offer a variety of engaging opportunities for the Museum visitor including permanent and changing exhibits on Michigan maritime history, a center for the teaching of boatbuilding and related maritime skills, and a regionally renowned research library. Waterfront festivals and events are complemented by the hustle and bustle of a modern harbor and vast sandy beaches in one of west Michigan's most picturesque shoreline communities.


Main Building This waterfront facility houses two engaging exhibit galleries on Michigan maritime history, and the administrative offices of the Museum.	Friends Good Will This Great Lakes historic replica sloop offers an unequalled opportunity to make history come alive through a variety of educational activities, including sailing on the tall ship.	Herbert Van Oort Boathouse Named in honor of a veteran Michigan Coast Guardman, this replica boathouse presents the nation's only complete and restored collection of the last three types of wooden rescue craft used by the US Coast Guard.


U.S. Life Saving Service Building This historic structure was built in 1887 as a part of the U.S. Life Saving Service Station at South Haven.	Padnos Boat Shed The Padnos Boat Shed serves as a center for the teaching and preservation of maritime skills, knowledge, and traditions.	Jensen Annex The Jensen Annex houses the Museum's antique outboard motor collection along with numerous historic watercraft.


Lightkeeper's House Located at 91 Michigan Avenue, this building served as a residence for South Haven lighthouse keepers and their families from 1872 until 1939.	Evelyn S. Evelyn S, an original fish tug is located on the Museum Campus with a viewing platform providing a view inside the vessel.	South Haven South Pier Light The Museum is in the process of acquiring the South Haven South Pier Light.
