Pirate Chaser Sails

Friends Good Will is a tall ship sailing out of the Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven, Michigan. The square topsail sloop is a replica of a ship of that name that fought for both the US and Great Britain during the War of 1812. The ship takes regularly scheduled sails on Lake Michigan, with crew dressed in full 1812 era regalia from mid May through Mid September. During the summer months special “Pirate Chaser Adventure Sails” are scheduled for the younger set at 10 AM, Wednesday though Saturday. The Captain briefs the young recruits on operations and procedures that will insure not only the sighting of pirates, but a guarantee of capturing the scoundrels and, in the tradition of the buccaneers, sharing in their loot. Never has so much adventure been packed into one 90 minute sail. For details and reservations call 1 800 747 3810 or purchase tickets online.

- Board the tall ship Friends Good Will with your fellow recruits, cast off the dock, and follow the Black River into Lake Michigan … then hoist the sails high.
