Let the support boil over!
Our 2020 Fish Boil Fundraiser is going virtual! The Fish Boil is one of the Museum’s largest fundraisers each year and raises close to $5000 at the 1-day event. Although we are unable to host the event on campus this year, we can come together online! For the whole month of July our goal is to raise $5,000 to help the Museum through this difficult time.
All donations large and small are welcome. If this is an event you normally would attend, please consider a donation of $10 (what the price of an adult admission to the event would have been) or more to help us reach our goal this year.
We’ll update our progress bar throughout the month to show you how close we are to the goal. We’ll announce the total monies raised on August 1st.
Past Fish Boils at the MMM
Fish Boils have historically been a community event where a meal of fish from the Great Lakes, potatoes, and onions where boiled to feed large groups. For almost 20 years, we have continued the tradition of community with our partners who come together to donate everything from the food to utensils feeding 400-500 people with 100% of the proceeds to help the Museum.
We can’t make this happen without the help of all the people, local organizations, and businesses who have sponsored this event in the past!
Our past community partners:
Star of the Lake Lodge #158, South Haven Steelheaders, Riverbend Boat Club, Barden’s Farm Market, Sherman’s Dairy, Clementine’s, Phoenix Street Cafe, Wolverine Hardware, McDonald’s, and all of our amazing cooks and volunteers.
