We are proud to host our first, limited-time travelling exhibit and art installation, Pisces Spiral, at the MMM. Pisces Spiral, created through a community engagement collaboration of local artist Joan Bonnette and the South Haven Center for the Arts, invited artists, school students and community members to create a fantastical fish. Bonnette created the Pisces Spiral—a collection of more than 300 artful fish made by people from South Haven and all over the world—which was exhibited at the South Haven Center for the Arts in 2018. Pisces Spiral features artistic fish approximately 6" in size made from a variety media including driftwood, paper, and recyclable materials. Bonnette installs the art in a spiral that allows the viewer to walk the path and emphasizes the need to keep the water clean, pollution free, and safe for water creatures and humans.

Joan Bonnette is an accomplished artist who shows her art nationally. She has been a volunteer and has been on the board of South Haven Center for the Arts as well as South Haven Scott Club. She is known for her installation, Endura World Spiral, 3000 artistic butterflies shown at Van Buren Senior Center last summer.
