Merry Time is a 1929 Chris Craft Cadet made of gorgeous mahogany.  One of just over 1,000 Chris Craft Cadets built since 1927, the boat, hull number 1886, is capable of travelling as fast as 35 mph.  By 1927, Chris Craft was recognized as the world’s largest builder of mahogany powerboats with fast engines.  Merry Time was donated to the Museum in 2015 by Phil Dolan, who had spent the previous four years returning the runabout to her former elegance.   Today this classic beauty takes Museum visitors out for a ride unlike any other.
