Volunteering at the MMM

Volunteers make all the difference at the Michigan Maritime Museum! Would you enjoy crewing on a tall ship, telling stories, working with children, vessel maintenance, or making lasting friendships? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then the MMM has a place for you. Whether it’s behind the scenes or working with the public, you can help us preserve, protect, and interpret Michigan’s Great Lakes maritime history and heritage.

Fill out the Volunteer Interest Form below and we will contact you to set up an orientation. We ask that all of our volunteers are Museum members. For more information on how to become a member, visit our Membership page.
